Extends Tax Break On Energy Conservation Equipment
The State of Connecticut recently announced it would be extending a sales tax
exemption on energy conservation and weatherization equipment. This is a
great way to get started on your home energy conservation projects.
This website was designed and written by the staff of Westmore
Fuel Co., Inc. We do our best to provide accurate and useful information. If
there is anything you would like to see us add to this website, or have any
suggestions, feel free to drop us an e-mail.
How do I
Renew or Start a Price Contract with Westmore
Fuel?
Log on to your account.
Click the “OIL PRICE PROTECTION PLANS”
button.
Click the SELECT button next to the price
program you want.
ENTER the amount of gallons you wish to
contract for. (We recommend a volume based on your average annual
consumption and what we project you to receive by August 31st).
Click “CALCULATE” to view your program fee.
SELECT your desired payment method (credit
card or e-check).
ENTER your e-mail address, twice. The
system will verify if your email addresses match.
Please read all of the terms and conditions, and
verify your name and address, contract price, program authorization
date, program delivery start date, and program delivery end date.
If you have read and agree with the terms and
conditions, please CHECK the box to continue.
Click the SUBMIT button.
IMPORTANT—Once the SUBMIT button is
clicked you are agreeing to the entire contract; this is also called an
‘electronic signature’. You will not be able to go back and see other
price offers—you now have a price contract.
The final step is payment of the program fee.
Please follow the prompts to complete your payment. After your
payment, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a copy of your
price contract.
Westmore Fuel
Co., Inc. does not recommend oil price contracts. Price contracts only
provide cost certainty, not a guarantee that you will save money. You
should only enter into a price contract when
you have read and understood all the risks.
Each price contract program
offers different methods of controlling your energy costs and risk. By clicking
on the MORE INFO buttons above, you can get detailed information about
each plan.
You are welcome to check our
pricing offers as often as you like—price offers will change as market prices
change.
It is important to note, when you
do a price contract with Westmore Fuel, we
also do a price contract through the New York Mercantile Exchange, which is a
futures based commodities market.
While these types of price
contracts, in the past, have been very beneficial to consumers, some years
they are not. There are some years where not having a price contract
has proven to be the better plan. Should
you choose not to enroll in an Oil Price Protection Plan, you can be assured
you will always pay a competitive price for the very best heating fuel
available, EnviroBlend4®.
