A home energy audit is the first step to assess how much energy your home consumes and to evaluate what measures you can take to make your home more energy efficient.

For a small fee of $119, Westmore Fuel will have an Energy Audit Specialist conduct a top-to-bottom energy assessment of your home.  We will identify problems and recommend changes that may, when corrected, save you significant amounts of money over time.

During our Energy Audit, our Specialist will:

• Examine windows, insulation, doors and any areas where you may be losing energy.
  
• Evaluate the efficiency of your heating system and hot water maker.
  
• Review current electric and fuel bills to better understand your home's energy usage.
• Discuss available incentives and rebates that can help pay for your energy improvements.

Many of our recommendations such as; an outside reset control, a primary control programmer, a set-back thermostat, an add-on hot water maker and increasing the frequency of replacing your air filter (hot air systems only), have already proved to be very cost effective for our customers.

Westmore serves the Lower Fairfield and Lower Westchester Counties. Both New York and Connecticut have accredited Energy Audit Contractors.  We pass them on to you for your consideration.
