prepare-for-winter

While warm weather is still upon us, the last thing on your mind is heating. However, there’s nothing more frustrating than starting up your heating system when you need it most only to discover a problem! You can avoid this by testing it now to make sure you have ample time to prepare for the heating season in case there’s an issue.

To check your system, just follow these simple steps:

1) Check that the emergency switch is in the “on” position and turn up the thermostat at least 10 degrees higher than the actual room temperature.

2) Wait a few minutes to hear your heating equipment hum into action.

3) If system doesn’t start up, press the reset button on your burner’s relay just once.

4) If your system still doesn’t start, please call us Mon- Fri, 8am-4:30pm at 203-531-6800 or 914-939-3400. Non-business hour service calls are ONLY for true “no heat” emergencies that require immediate attention.

Thank you and we look forward to serving you this winter!
