Congress recently passed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), perhaps the most important environmental legislation since the Clean Air Act of 1970.
Thanks to the IRA, homeowners can now claim a federal tax credit of up to $600 for installing ENERGY STAR-certified heating oil systems that use renewable fuel blends of at least 20% biodiesel.
